Festival passes and tickets on sale now.

Festival passes and all individual session passes on sale through the factory theatre website now. We have a bumper 2008 program with complete session passes on $70 ($65 conc.) and individual sessions only $12 ($10 conc.) Festival passes also come with a collector dog tag.

Big thanks to all who came to the Oxford Art Factory for the pre-festival launch party last Thursday night. We launched the 2008 program with free drinks, food, music, and live performances. Thanks also to 2SER radio and DJs Daz Chandler and Paris Pompor and also thanks to SUPERMARKET who came all the way from South Australia to bring us their brand of audio visual immersion. The program is now available so get your festival passes now via Factory Theatre website.

Tonight we hold our pre-festival launch party where we announce the 2008 program with free drinks, food, music, and live performances! The Fuse Box - 2nd cinema for SUFF!

The Factory Theatre has finally finished renovating THE FUSE BOX, which means a second cinema seated 120 guests. This means the festival has more programming time to work with, and means we will be able to screen more features and also repeats popular programs! More bang for your buck!
Oxford Art Factory announced as pre-festival launch venue

The awesome venue that is the Oxford Art Factory (Oxford Street, Darlinghurst) has been announced of the pre-festival launch party venue! The launch will be taking place on Thursday 7th August and will be an invite only event, so keep your eyes and ears out for how to obtain an invite for you and a friend. More details coming soon. |

The SUFF needs new blood. We are looking for a ‘website / newsletter content coordinator’ and a ‘publicity assistant’. If you are interested in either of these unpaid, volunteer positions, please email kath@suff.com.au ASAP.

We have received some amazing entries but we are still searching for more innovative, experimental, subversive, transgressive, creative, distinctive, boundary-breaking films for our festival in September! And since the earlybird deadline is fast approaching, save yourself some hard-earned $$ and enter by 18th April 2008.

We are now open for entries and are looking for the finest films in all genres, styles,
and lengths – whatever the controversial, political or challenging content! And don’t
worry, even if you made your film back in 1970 and have not done anything with it
yet or you have re-edited it and want to enter it into a festival, we have no ‘year of
production’ date restrictions!
